The Baku Chess Olympiad flag presentation

Here is the Baku Chess Olympiad flag presentation in case you missed it.

How many African countries can you pick out in the presentation? There Olympiad will run from 1 September – 14 September 2016. There are 1600 players, 180 Open teams 142 women’s teams, 175 countries in the Open section and 138 countries in the Women’s section.

The total number of participants is 1,599 with 891 in the open and 708 in the women’s event. The number of participating teams is 180 from 175 countries in the open section and 142 from 138 countries in the women’s section. Six countries, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Eritrea, Kosovo, Liberia and South Sudan, all enter the tournament for the first time. The venue of the Chess Olympiad is the Baku Crystal Hall. The Chief Arbiter of the event is Azerbaijan’s International Arbiter Faiq Hasanov.
