KZN Chess Academy bringing in GM Sipke Ernst to South Africa

In line with their simple but effective motto, Developing Young Minds, KZN Chess Academy will be bringing a chess grandmaster to Kwa Zulu Natal (KZN).  With the South African Junior Chess Closed Championships (SAJCCC) around the corner the timing of the visit by GM Sipke Ernst couldn’t be better. The SAJCCC will run from 5 to 12 April. Below is a short statement posted by Erick Takawira on Facebook.

Announcement by KZN Chess Academy President

KZN Chess Academy is humbled to be bringing International Grandmaster Sipke Ernst to Durban,South Africa. He will be conducting coaching sessions and lectures in Durban from 7 to 21 March 2017.

GM Sipke Ernst is a professional Coach and has a peak FIDE rating of 2606. He is an experienced trainer and has been a certified Coach of the Dutch federation since 2001. He holds a masters’ degree in Dutch Language and culture. He is many times winner of international chess tournaments.
