Announcing South Africa’s Richest online bullet Tournament ever on Lichess – ENTER NOW

Africa Chess Net is delighted to announce the richest online bullet tournament ever in South Africa. We will be hosting a bullet tournament on 25th January 2018. It will have the largest prize fund ever for bullet chess tournament hosted from South Africa.

Below is the information from the entry form to the tournament.

2 Lucky players from those who register and pay will get tickets to play against Super chess grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura in Johannesburg on the 6th January 2018. On 7 January at 1600 hrs GM Nakamura will play in a 100 game simultaneous chess exhibition at the SAJCC. It will be the largest ever simultaneous chess exhibition held in South Africa and one of the largest ever in Africa.

This is the entry form for the Africa Lichess Events Bullet event in RSA. THIS IS THE RICHEST ONLINE CHESS EVENT IN SOUTH AFRICA.

You will need a Lichess account and username to take part in the event. The tournament will be played using the Lichess Arena tournament rules. PLEASE FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THESE RULES BEFORE PLAYING IN THE EVENT.

You need to play at least 20 Lichess games before you can take part in our event.

VENUE: South Africa Chess Arena on Lichess
TIME; 1800 HRS TO 1900 HRS Central African Time (CAT)
WHO CAN PLAY: South Africans based anywhere in the world, OR any player living in South Africa

ENTRY FEE: R100, Titled players do not pay but entry deducted from prize. Event is 1 hour long.

Our Prize fund of R4,400 is the biggest ever for a South African Bullet Chess event.
1ST: R1000
2ND: R800
3RD: R600
4TH: R400
5TH: R200

TOP NON TITLED PLAYER: R600
TOP LADY: R600
TOP JUNIOR: R200

The total prize fund is R4,400. This total prize fund is guaranteed if there are at least 44 non-titled players taking part in the event. If there are less than 44 players we will adjust the prizes accordingly.

If a player is eligible for more than one prize, he ONLY receives the higher one and forfeits the other one.
